THE INSPIRAGEN INSTITUTE STORY
Untie the Knots® and Thrive Maximized!
1993: Started with Community Roots
While serving in the U.S. Navy, Ty Howard returns home on leave to the low-income community he grew up in, Cherry Hill, in South Baltimore, Maryland. At three of the neighborhood schools, he speaks to and inspires the youth (students) to pursue bigger goals and dreams, and to see beyond their current circumstances and environments.
This sparked the need for, concept, planning, and journey of InspiraGen Institute (To Inspire a Generation: One Person. One Community. One Business at a Time.)
1997: Unlocking Corporate Mastery
Ty's honorable Navy exit from full-time active duty led to a diverse corporate career, including roles as an HR leader, professional development trainer for senior leaders and staff, office manager, behavior intervention manager, outside sales account manager, and lead corporate sales trainer. This journey ultimately culminated in the official establishment of InspiraGen Institute.
2000: Untie the KnotsTM Ascends to New Heights
Ty Howard and InspiraGen Institute, and its methodology, solutions, and robust programs, begin to reach corporate boardrooms, leadership conferences, professional development training days, colleges and universities, school districts and schools, healthcare organizations, government agencies, financial institutions, manufacturing companies, real estate organizations, specialty companies/groups, and associations nationwide.
2007: Expanding Horizons
Ty Howard publishes the best-selling book Untie the Knots That Tie Up Your Life, expands services, welcomes more senior consultants to the InspiraGen Institute team, launches global marketing initiatives, spearheads impactful research, and collectively begins guiding leadership teams and organizations worldwide on effectively bridging generational gaps in the workplace.
2015 – Present: Consulting Recognition Earned and Solidified
Recognized and sought-after – globally - as a leader for impactful, human-centric, future-ready leadership, and innovative organizational development and human performance solutions.
